GV treats House families to a special screening of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens"

The Force was strong at the House as delighted families were whisked away under Imperial guard courtesy of GV for a private showing of the year's most anticipated film "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". For immune-compromised children staying at Ronald McDonald House at Stanford, the special showing was much more than a convenience--it was their only opportunity to safely see the blockbuster hit in a theater.

KTVU News was on hand to capture the reaction of House families, including the Bingham family, who have two children who have received heart transplants, and another on the transplant waiting list, and teenager Luis Garcia, a huge Star Wars fan who is battling brain cancer.

Thank you, GV for your generosity, and may the Force be with you!
