Ronald McDonald House® at Stanford Celebrates Groundbreaking of Expansion to Become the World's Largest Ronald McDonald House.

On July 14, 2014, Ronald McDonald House at Stanford broke ground on its 52,000-square-foot expansion and renovation project that will provide expanded housing, accommodations, and supportive programming to a greater number of families of critically ill children being treated at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford.

Congratulations to House Volunteer Michael Rubenstein, winner of the KPIX Jefferson Award!

Veteran House volunteer Michael Rubenstein was selected by CBS' local affiliate KPIX as the winner of the SF Bay Area Jefferson Award in honor of his 30 years of service with Ronald McDonald House at Stanford and work with the House's Happy Wheels hospitality cart. After a long day at the hospital, enjoying a nutritious dinner is the best therapy for families. Various organizations and groups have volunteered to make home-cooked meals for those staying at the House through our Meals for Munchkins program.
