Programs

Ronald McDonald House at Stanford is a warm, home-away-from-home environment. All programs are designed to provide a sense of normalcy for families whose lives have been turned upside down by serious illness.

Meals for Munchkins
After a long day at the hospital, enjoying a nutritious dinner together is the best therapy for families—yet few have the energy to spend time cooking. The House's "Meals for Munchkins" program ensures that lunch and dinner are provided to families 3-5 days out of any given week.
Happy Wheels Cart
The "Happy Wheels" cart provides a bit of comfort as it travels the hallways of Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, bringing parents a hot beverage and snack while keeping the little ones entertained with books, fun activities and toys.
Summer Camp
Summer Camp offers traditional camp activities like arts and crafts, sports, music, and team building in an environment where siblings can make special summer memories together, while ensuring our little ones continue to receive vital medical care at the hospital.
Café Con Leche
This program provides a casual space that is needed for Spanish-speaking families. The group meets bi-weekly every Monday to enjoy chocolaté (hot chocolate), café (coffee), pan dulce (sweet bread) and each other's company.
